People are often surprised when they ask me what my favourite animal is… and I tell them guinea pigs are right up there at the top of my list! We've had so many wonderful little guineas over the years — they are just the loveliest creatures.
In fact, it was guinea pigs that started me off with my daily drawings! For the first few months I drew a guinea pig every single day — that was six years ago now — and I haven’t drawn a beloved guinea in ages… so I thought I would tonight!
Today’s drawing was created with Faber Castell pencil crayon and delicate ink details on thick art card.

About my 'Daily Drawings': I began my Daily Drawings in 2019 as a way to ensure I created something every day. With increasing paperwork and busy schedules, I found that some days slipped by without any drawing at all. Committing to one small illustration each day gave me a sense of creative accomplishment and lifted my spirits. It’s been truly heartwarming to receive messages from people around the world saying these drawings brighten their days too!

My Daily Drawings are quite different from the larger paintings I exhibit in galleries. These smaller, more intimate pieces capture fleeting moments of creativity, while my exhibited works are more expansive in scale and detail.
