Molly! With the paperback release of the 3rd book in the series today, I'm releasing an original painting of Molly as she is on the front cover of the book. This original painting was found in my archive and I have made her available to buy! When creating book artwork, I often paint multiple versions to keep the picture loose, free-flowing, and full of life. This piece was made alongside the book but never released—until now!
Molly is painted in the most beautiful rich metallic inks, something that can’t be picked up in the printed book and I always think is a really special treat when you see the paintings in real life.
Today’s drawing was created with watercolour, ink and soft Faber Castell pencil crayon and delicate ink details on thick art card.
